Scott Pilgrim volume 1
Written and Art by Bryan Lee O’Malley
Since Scott Pilgrim first made its debut the entire series has gotten the hardback and colourized treatment taking the story of two slackers from two different countries falling in love and learning how to be adults together to a whole new level. Fans of the 2010 movie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will love the first installment in this graphic novel series. For those who didn’t enjoy the movie? I promise you they will still enjoy this comic book. Scott and Ramona struggle with Valentine’s Day, as many young adults do, in the same way, their narratives entwine and unravel against the backdrop of beautiful Canadian landscapes.

Wang celebrates the complexity of identity with the first flush of love many folks spend their whole lives longing for. This is a perfect Valentine’s Day Gift for the person in your life who doesn’t think they like comic books.
