Shang-Chi World Premier
This past week Marvel Studio’s latest offering, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings held its red carpet premier at the Disney El Capitan Cinema in Hollywood, California.
Shang-Chi will be Marvel Studio’s first movie available strictly in theaters with no streaming options offered – whether they be for pay or otherwise. Early reactions as positive:

Eternals Final Trailer Drops
With Shang-Chi on the horizon Disney has turned their sights on their next big superhero offering and released the Final Trailer for Eternals yesterday:
Marvel Studios’ Eternals | Final Trailer
“When you love something, you protect it.”Watch the brand new trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Eternals.” Arriving in theaters November 5.► Watch Marvel on Disne…
Comic book readers will find little similar to The Eternals of publishing past, however this trailer hints at more of the movie’s plot than anything we have seemed up to this point. Ironically, the emergence of a secret powerful population from the shadows which seems to be driving director Chloe Zhao’s narrative feels more like what has been expected of the X-Men. The story leans heavily on knowledge of the past phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it does certainly look epic!
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Marvel Movies without the EW covers!
Amazon’s Lord of the Rings gets a Release Date
On the fantasy side of the genre coin, Amazon has wrapped production on it’s highly-anticipated Lord of the Rings television series. Deadline has reported we will be able to watch the epic undertaking Friday, September 2, 2022 … about a year from today.
This first look photo seems to imply Amazon paid for the WB-owned designs from Peter Jackson’s original Lord of the Rings film trilogy in an effort to preserve a sense of shared aesthetics across the ages.
