‘My Hero Academia’ Live-Action Movie Lands Director Shinsuke Sato
Renowned Japanese filmmaker Shinsuke Sato (“I Am a Hero,” “Kingdom” and “Alice in Borderland”) has signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of ” My Hero Academia ” for Legendary Entertainment. The prolific filmmaker will make his English-language debut with the movie, which is based on the globally acclaimed manga property.
‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Has Been Delayed Again
Here we go again. Despite Hollywood’s best efforts, the delta variant of COVID-19 has started to upend the movie theater industry’s recent gains. Given the rocky film landscape, Sony Pictures has announced plans to delay the theatrical release of ” Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” the studio’s upcoming comic book adventure, starring Tom Hardy as the eponymous alien symbiote.
‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Netflix Live-Action Series Sets Main Cast
The ” Avatar: The Last Airbender” live-action series at Netflix has found its four series leads. Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, and Dallas Liu have all joined the series. Cormier will star as Aang, with Kiawentiio set to play Katara. Ousley will play Sokka and Liu will play Zuko.
