Image Comics has announced the upcoming issue SfSx #3 by Tina Horn will feature the work of guest artist Alejandra Gutierrez.
“From the moment I first saw Alejandra’s story in Twisted Romance, I knew I wanted to write an issue of SfSx especially for her!” said writer Tina Horn in a press release from Image Comics. “She’s got a real gift for both sight gags and pop eroticism. Issue 3 of SfSx is the sexiest story yet, and Alejandra did a fantastic job illustrating the utopia behind the dystopia. It’s safe to say this is the FIRST EVER comic with queer sex work themes both written and illustrated by queer women who are out sex workers. I’m so glad to be breaking that ground with Alejandra and Image!”
In SfSx #3, readers take a tour of this decadent underworld just as its denizens realize they need to take a stand for everything they believe in.
SfSx is a social thriller about sex, love, and torture that reads like Sex Criminals in Gilead crossed with Hustlers—with a Sunstone twist. In a draconian America where sexuality is bureaucratized and policed, a group of queer sex workers keep the magic alive in an underground club called the Dirty Mind. Using their unique bondage skills, they resolve to infiltrate the mysterious government Pleasure Center, free their friends, and fight the power.
