I think the incoming secret pedestals are each devoted to a category of secrets. The items were so different. So there’s war, agriculture, intellect, legal, etc. Not sure why there’s only one pedestal for each though. It seems like if there’s 200 outgoing pedestals there should be thousands of incoming pedestals.
Though clearly the team is getting some SERIOUS radiation poisoning from how closely Vecna is scanning them.
Where are those secrets going to?!
I can’t help but wonder…is there one secret per episode of Critical Hit… Suggesting 9 episodes left (of the Void Saga, at least) for the 9 pedestals and 500+ pedastals for the episodes in the past… A few of the things on pedastals seem like they could be items from other arcs, for instance…
I think the incoming secrets are incoming to Vecna. So when the party went in their, all of their secrets just began spilling out into whatever set-up Vecna has to get people’s secrets. So the undead dudes (who have no minds, which is why they can operate inside the rooms without mucking things up) just brought representations of the secrets into the room.
Incoming Secrets are secrets Vecna has placed in the room, to be brought out to something.
So it’s not Incoming Secrets to Vecna, and Outgoing Secrets from Vecna. It’s the other way around. By walking into the Outgoing Secrets room, the party basically began uploading their secrets to the room, and it stopped when they left, but not before Vecna got a looooot of interesting stuff.
