Dark Horse Comics has announced that Neil Gaiman’s retelling of the Snow White fairytale is getting the comic book adaptation by Colleen Doran.
Doran recently adapted Gaiman’s Troll Bridge, and is back to give a very different take on the evil queen.
Terrified of her monstrous stepdaughter and determined to repel the creature and save her kingdom, a not-so-evil queen desperately tries to stop a “happily” ever after that was never supposed to be. Stopping ever after, however, is no small task…
Snow, Glass, Apples is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 7, 2019.
