Sure, we could argue Coke or Pepsi all day long until we are all blue in the face, and we have to take a break to consume a cold soda. But the real battle is between the other pops.

My father introduced me to Dr. Pepper when I was young. It is still one of my favorites.
I rarely drink soda any more, but back in the day, Sprite was totally my thing.
Dr Pepper is always my favorite. A great unique taste.
Sprite for several reasons.
1. No caffeine which I had to give up.
2. Dr Pepper does not mix well with adult beverages.
3. I used to drink a lot of Dr Pepper in my teens and at some point I just became sick of it.
Dr. Pepper is incredibly good with spiced rum, though.
Neither are my goto but Sprite is the lesser of two evils plus sprite is a good mix.
Dr. Pepper, only because the real Mr. Pibb is no longer a thing. Dr. Pepper with sugar instead of corn syrup is great.
Mr. Pibb is still a thing. It may just be a regional thing now.
It’s almost impossible to find plain Mr. Pibb any more. What they now sell is Mr. Pibb extra, which is kind of a New Coke situation.
I never drank Dr. Pepper until I worked at a Shoney’s restaurant with the woman who would later become my wife, and she consumed the stuff like water. She still does. Also, my caffeine tolerance dictates my choice as well. Try it with a wedge of lemon!
I actually prefer Pibb Xtra to Dr. Pepper ever since they switched the DP formula when they introduced the 26 flavor thing. It’s never been as good since.
Dr Pepper definitely does take like cherry cough syrup.
