What a great episode! I loved learning about the awakened gods and I’m looking forward to the party meeting some of them. I also enjoyed how the party interacted with their support team of NPCs. They are all interesting and helpful in their own way.
Meanwhile, what is Asmodeus up to? Seeing how the season’s title is Devilish Research, it’s going to be where things come to a head at some point? I wonder how deep the party is already involved in Asmodeus’ advances? (Staticite, Tuberville, Void War Negotiations, Kobold Alley, etc.) Will they be held accountable and how will they fix it all? Is Asmodeus going to attempt reign Ket in at some point? So many possibilities!
Such a fun story, and we seem to be just getting started! Thank you!
Do you want to know my first thought in my head when it was mentioned about Asmodeus’s new scientists and there location? It was a place that once infected humans with happiness, the place where where we met the late child of an unknown ruler, where green slime was once scattered like cysts all of over the town and under the mayor’s house, where the party later saw a church take over, where the people were worked to death in mines, where they cowered in fear of shadows, where people unwillingly practiced blood letting until the blood ran no more, a place of despair and horror. The small, once unassuming town, of Tuberville.
