[Gaming] Fantastic Four returns to Marvel Legendary

Stephen SchleicherBy Stephen SchleicherJune 2, 2017Updated:June 2, 20171 Min Read

Years ago, Upper Deck released the Marvel Legendary Fantastic Four expansion, but for “some reason” the company was not allowed to reprint the expansion. GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! In six to eight weeks we’ll see reprints of Marvel Legendary Fantastic Four on store shelves.

Legendary Fantastic FourUpper Deck Senior Brand Manager, Jason Brenner, has revealed that the company can go back to print on a new printing. This is great news for those that want to complete their Marvel Legendary deck building game (me for example), and don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars to grab a copy from eBay.

Marvel Legendary: Fantastic Four features the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer in combat with Mastermind Galactus. Included in the set are five heroes, two villain groups and two new Masterminds. When the expansion arrives, Upper Deck is keeping the price at $19.99.

It really looks like Marvel has figured out that leaving money on the table is not a good business model, and are bringing back the Fantastic Four in force.  Keep your eyes open, as the San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner and I expect there to be many Fantastic Four announcements to come.
