With Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 arriving soon, there is going to be a huge uptick in GotG merchandise. When it comes to wearable, or life-sized prop replicas, there are a couple of ways to approach acquiring exactly what you want – you can build it, 3D print it, or find a company that is selling quality replicas. EFX Collectibles. certainly falls into the third option with a very limited edition Star-Lord Helmet.
There are only 750 of these screen accurate replicas being sold, and from the photos I’ve seen, this two-piece construction makes this an item many people will want. The Star-Lord helmet is made from fiberglass, metal and plastic, and comes with a special display stand with mannequin head to display the helmet proudly in your Nerd Room of Doom.
The only drawback is the price. At $700 you better make sure your wallet is fat and your significant other is okay with you dropping that much money on a piece of ephemera. But man… what a piece of ephemera it is.
EFX Collectibles will need a $200 deposit from you when the helmet goes on pre-order on April 20th.
