A lot of fans applauded Warner Bros. when it created the Vixen animated series for the CW Seed online service. Now that the first two seasons are complete, Warner Bros. is releasing them on Blu-ray and DVD as Vixen: The Movie.
“VIXEN: The Movie” combines the first two seasons of the CW Seed digital series into a single uniform story and includes 15 minutes of all-new, never-before-seen content. The special features include a brand new featurette and two Vixen-focused episodes of Justice League Unlimited handpicked by super hero animation icon Bruce Timm.
While I’m not a fan of the name rebranding to make this collection seem to be different than it is, having this disc in my hands is better than Warner Bros. and The CW Seed simply ignoring the series all together.
Vixen: The Movie arrives on physical media on May 23rd and on Digital HD on May 8th.
