SOLICITATION: “MY OWN WORST ENEMY” conclusion! Batman, Duke and Two-Face square off in a fight for Harvey Dent’s soul. With assassins flooding in from across the countryside, Batman learns that even his most trusted allies might choose evil over good.
WAYNE: What better way is there to wrap up 2016 than with the conclusion to a Scott Snyder Batman story! Yes!
BLUE BEETLE #4

STEPHEN: This issue gives us not one, not two, but THREE Blue Beetles! Of course not all of them may be alive by the end of the book, but if this is how we are getting the origin story, I’m all in for the ride. I just hope DC Comics doesn’t Hawkman this character…

Artist: Frank Miller, Andy Kubert, Klaus Janson
Publisher: DC Comics
Cover Price: $5.99
SOLICITATION: Batman and Superman are back together again-but is their reunion too late?
WAYNE: I know, it’s late – seems like every time Mr. Miller does a Batman book, it’s behind. But I think it’s going to be so worth it, though!

Be a part of an historic comics event! It doesn’t matter who you love. All that matters is that you love.

SUPERGIRL: BEING SUPER #1
Writer: Mariko Tamaki
Artist: Joëlle Jones
Publisher: DC Comics
Cover Price: $5.99
SOLICITATION: Flying and crushing coal into diamonds may come easy, but try popping a Kryptonian zit! Caldecott Honor-winning and Eisner Award-winning writer Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer) teams with Eisner Award-nominated artist Joëlle Jones (Lady Killer) for a coming-of-age tale like you’ve never seen before. But while growing pains shake up Kara’s world, a deadly earthquake rocks the small town of Midvale beneath her feet! The Girl of Steel has a choice: let her world die, or overcome her adolescent insecurities and be super!
STEPHEN: This is a great “out of continuity” tales of Supergirl. Note they aren’t calling this an Elseworlds title, but it sure does feel like it. I love the depiction of all of the characters that appear in the book, and I can’t wait to see a big bad reveal that will push Kara to being Supergirl.
