    [Television] Nickelodeon shares 25 years of animation with fans #SDCC

    The Happy Happy! Joy Joy!: 25 Years of Nickelodeon Original Animation panel took place today at the San Diego Comic Con, and top creators were on hand to reflect on their favorite animated programs.

    Fans were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, which will debut in 2017.

    Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie will feature a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in 2004 and will resolve unanswered questions and plotlines-including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents. The movie is written and executive produced by the series’ original creator Craig Bartlett and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank.

    Art from the upcoming Butch Hartman series, Bunsen is a Beast! were shown. Bunsen is a Beast is an original animated comedy that follows the adventures of Bunsen, the first beast to attend a human-grade school. It will debut on Nick in 2017 as well.

    Finally, the world premiere of Don vs Raph, a TMNT animated short by Jhonen Vasquez was shown, where Donatello and Raphael have a score to settle.
