Titan Comics has released the first lettered pages from Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s Mycroft Holmes and the Apocalypse Handbook #1 that arrives in stores in August.

The first issue goes on sale on August 3rd. Knowing more about Jabbar’s previous novels, I think this book will be than more simply relying on name recognition to sell issue, I think it will sell on the story alone.
