While we don’t share every Kickstarter campaign, there are few worth making note of. One current campaign features a baseball player turned spy, teaming with a polar explorer as they try and solve a international mystery.
In Dubious Tales, authorities have caught wind that someone is supplying a rogue Japanese admiral with illegal war materials out of 1930’s Port of San Francisco. A mysterious group called the New York Committee send Moe Berg and Hubert Wilkins to find out if the rumors are true, and who is responsible. The trail leads them on a wild goose chase of action through San Francisco, across the Pacific and hopefully back again… with a few extra dubious tales spun by history’s least known, but most fascinating characters.
The creators are trying to raise $25,218 to finish the art and get a limited print run into the hands of backers. With 21 days to go, the campaign has raised $2,321.
You can find out more about the campaign, the reward levels, and see even more art at Kickstarter.
