With Star Wars: The Force Awakens just around the corner, Matinee Multilingual has created an interesting infographic that breaks down some of the languages you may run across during your adventures in a galaxy far, far, away….
Stephen Schleicher began his career writing for the Digital Media Online community of sites, including Digital Producer and Creative Mac covering all aspects of the digital content creation industry. He then moved on to consumer technology, and began the Coolness Roundup podcast. A writing fool, Stephen has freelanced for Sci-Fi Channel's Technology Blog, and Gizmodo. Still longing for the good ol' days, Stephen launched Major Spoilers in July 2006, because he is a glutton for punishment.

The idea behind this is great, but like a lot of these posters they do, I find it a little lacking and a little bit inaccurate at places.
I do like that they pointed out that some of the “alien languages” used in the films are actual real life languages. I’m honestly a little surprised how rare it is to come across someone who knows that.
As a native Finn, I can assure you, I have no idea what Sebulba speaks but its not even close to Finnish by any stretch of imagination. Maybe thats wy no one doesnt know it, because its not true.
I actually hadn’t heard about Sebulba before this poster, so I am not surprised if that isn’t true. But some of the other languages, like what Greedo spoke, have been mentioned in old magazines and behind-the-scenes stuff. A friend’s relative told me about it as a kid, but that was in the 80’s when there wasn’t an internet to look stuff up, so I thought he was just trying to trick me until I saw an article in some old sci-fi magazine a few years later.
