According to USA Today Pepsi will be releasing 1,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect at this year’s New York Comic Con in celebration of Back to the Future II set during 2015.
Pepsi’s Senior Diretor of Marketing, Lou Arbetter, told USA Today, “Fans have always been a little bit crazy about it. We’re fans of this popular trilogy, and just generally, if you work at Pepsi you’re fans of pop culture. The brand has made its mark in pop culture frankly since Michael Jackson moonwalked. We’ve been dancing in and around pop culture for a while, so we took this as another opportunity to have a little bit of fun.”
Marty McFly cosplayers will be able to get a bottle of Pepsi Perfect for free, whereas plain clothes-ed fans will have to pay the ironic price of $20.15 per bottle. An additional 6,000 bottles of Pepsi Perfect will be available for wide release.
