There isn’t enough 3D superhero art out there. Or I should say, there isn’t a lot of superhero 3D art that is very good. Part sculpting, part model making, and a whole lot of polygon and point pushing goes into making a fantastic sculpt, and today I’ve found a great example in Tom Lishman’s Deadpool.
Tom used ZBrush to model this piece, and I’ll be honest, I wish I would have paid more attention to ZBrush back in the day when I was doing a lot of modeling and animation, as I probably would have jumped on board that method for character creation.
Tom has a lot of his 3D work over at his DeviantArt page, and is really worth checking out.

I have to disagree. There is a LOT of great stuff out there, but it just gets lost amid the sea of “flavor of the week” styles, “adult” artwork and other things.
That said, this is an amazing piece.
