Grumpy Cat has over 7.6 million Facebook fans, and 31 million YouTube viewers, so there is the potential for new readers to rush to the comic book store snatching these up along with their SMOSH comics. With this announcement, it appears as though Dynamite Entertainment is pushing hard to acquire online media properties to entice younger readers with these properties, and retain older readers with their pulp titles.
The first Grump Cat comics will arrive in the Fall of 2015.
