So far I’ve listed to but 1 turn of the game. I have to say I’m very impressed with how sharp young Mason is.
I’m impressed with Mason too. He can read the word “venomous” ! Wow. He also took losing really well.
Great episode, I love the offseason :)
Mason is such a quick reader, big applaus from Norway.
I play this quite a bit with my kids aswell, and this is a great introduktion to dnd for kids.
I only did catch 2 critical errors.
First the developers have said in the official FAQ that there is no such thing as “line of sight” in the dnd boardgames. This is as balance is more importent than roleplay.
Second, you can only have one item that gives a bonus to AC and one item that gives a bonus to attack. Im looking at you Rob – you munchkin :)
Please keep up the great work, and bring back Mason soon.
100% agree with the first few posts that Mason is really impressive at reading and was really fun to listen to. More proof that gaming helps you learn faster. I am very surprised that this game seems to be so difficult. Seems unfair that that many monsters would spawn, maybe it was pure dumb luck. Keep up the good work guys!
Mason was such a joy to listen to, every time he spoke I was squee-ing with a serious case of the Oh-my-goodness-this-is-just-too-adorables. XD;;; What a sharp kid! Stephen must be so proud.
Also, I can’t believe how old Critical Hit is. I remember back in the early episodes, Stephen referred to his son while he was still in infancy stages. He also talked at length about taking his son to that amusement park thing where he pretended to be a wizard or something. And now he’s old enough to be playing, that is ridiculously wonderful. <3
