Ticket sales for the Baltimore Comic-Con have gone on sale. The three day event takes place September 5-7, 2014, and the prices are much cheaper than another big comic convention taking place in July.
Ticket prices are:
- Weekend – $55
- Friday – $25
- Saturday – $30
- Sunday – $25
As always, children 10 and under are free! Additionally, VIP packages are available now, and are a separate purchase from General Admission tickets (which will be required to participate in any VIP offerings).
I like that children under 10 get into the event for free, which means, a lot of little tykes running around in superhero costumes should be the norm, instead of the exception.
This is also the first year that Friday has been added to the schedule.
“This is such an exciting year for us, adding Friday to the weekend,” said Marc Nathan, show promoter for the Baltimore Comic-Con. “We know our fans have been anxiously awaiting ticket availability to buy for themselves, family members, friends, students, award winners, and any number of other scenarios we’ve heard about, and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience. This is going to be our biggest year ever with a third day and an even larger space in the Baltimore Convention Center, and we’re thrilled to have everyone to experience it with us!”
There is a huge list of guests and events, including The Harvey Awards that takes place on Saturday evening to recognize outstanding achievement in over 20 categories.
