Majestic banter this episode :d
My theory would be that Lolth and Asmodeus are in conflict now remember Lolth would have lost a large part of her Army in Void War. Where Asmodeus lost none so if he was going to move on the other dark gods now would be the time. We know he is on the move from the actions of his Priests in Tubervillie.
Just my two Cents
just catching that two cents and then thowing them in again.
It makes sense that that would be a reason to leave. However that is no reason to close of the portal and the floor mechanism, and anyhow you’d think that they would leave people like children and some carers. Why bring children into a warzone?
It’s most likely Spud holding a grudge against the drowe. Or if master Authern (excuse my spelling) had a grudge against the Drowe. Spud would have followed through and driven the Drowe out. But that still doesnt explain the floor…
My other Theory is that its is related to whats is happening in the Southern Content. Queens rebellious Daughter makes allusions to there being other portals in the Underdark to other continents. So maybe this is just something we don’t have enough information about to truly Judge.
It also should be noted we don’t know what ended the Underdark War The Drowe were winning them they just stopped and pulled back. This issue might go back all the way to those times.
maybe… Perhaps we will have to wait until next week to understand. If it isn’t a mailbag *grumbles*
I think with all those dead elderins, the feywild’s real estate market just open up
OMG why did no one catch that the Queens Rebelious Daugther had a “pocket watch” like Randus, right in the end…
Great, great episode.
I was wondering if the watch was significant somehow. It seemed to stand out but I had forgotten Randus had one also… BTW “Miss Daughter”? That was hilarious…
yes, I laughed so hard. I nearly crashed my car.
Listening back through the series . . . The current season (5?) began back in Episode #190 “Snail Rock Island” (March 8, 2013).
This has been a great season!
NO. That is part of the same Lords of the Feywild season…
My theory is that Lolth figures Spud/the Feywild is about to go nuclear, has no faith in The Torqeltones and she’s keeping her Drow safe in the Demonweb until it all blows over (by Xmas, of course). Doesn’t really account for the sabotage, but it’s the best I got.
The fact that people are making these guesses shows the quality of the story.
Err, and I mean that in a good way. People are getting involved in the story.
