Press Release
The Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Inner Harbor in 2014 for its premiere inaugural three-day event the weekend of September 5-7 at the Baltimore Convention Center!
We continue to add fantastic talent to our slate of guests attending the 2014 show! This week, we are pleased to announce the addition of Todd Dezago, Don Rosa, Craig Rousseau, and Joe Rubinstein to the guest list!
Comics writer Todd Dezago has been a noteworthy contributor to Image, DC, and Marvel Comics. In addition to working on such titles as Sensational Spider-Man, Super Hero Squad, and Marvel Adventures at Marvel Comics and Impulse, Teen Titans, and Young Justice at DC Comics, Dezago’s creator-owned titles Tellos and Perhapanauts, both published through Image Comics, have garnered much attention and kudos.
Eisner Award-winning Don Rosa can hardly be mentioned without evoking images of Walt Disney’s Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and the rest of the Duck family. Heir apparent to Carl Barks as the Duck master, he was responsible for approximately 90 stories before his retirement from working with Disney in 2006.
Craig Rousseau has spent his career as an artist working on numerous noteworthy titles and runs. He has spent time on DC Comics’ Batman Beyond, Harley Quinn, and Impulse, Marvel’s Captain America & the Korvac Saga, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane Season 2, and Iron Man & the Iron Wars, and he can be seen lately working on DC Comics’ Batman ’66, Image Comics’ Perhapanauts: Danger Down Under, and Dynamite Entertainment’s Pathfinder: Goblins!
Inker extraordinaire Joe Rubinstein has had a storied career, having had opportunity to participate in the creation of works that have had lasting impacts on comics. He holds a Guinness World Record for inking more pencilers than any other inker, and worked on inking The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe for over 20 years. His contributions include Marvel’s original Wolverine limited series, Micronauts, and Warlock, and DC Comics’ Batman, Green Arrow/Black Canary, Justice League titles, and Superman among many, many others.
