NBC has found the man to star in the titular role for their upcoming adaptation Constantine, Welsh actor Matt Ryan.
Looking through the list of Ryan’s work on IMDB, it would seem that the most likely place people would recognize him from is a one time part in Torchwood, another bit role for an episode of Vikings on the History Channel. Fans of the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag game might recognize Ryan’s voice as that of Edward Sterling.

Well, he’s no Ted “Theodore” Logan…. but that’s probably a good thing by every count…
I’m not familiar with his work, but hey someone from the region is a definite improvement over Keanu Reeves. While still cautious about the whole show, this feels at least like a step in the right direction.
James Marsden was busy, I guess.
Marsters, my bad. Its early on the east coast, haven’t finished my coffee.
As long as the CW doesn’t crap all over it, I’m good.
