Press Release
Diamond Comic Distributors’ Retailer Summit for comic book specialty retailers will take place May 17-19, 2014 in the “Entertainment Capital of the World”, Las Vegas! Additional details regarding programming and registration for the industry’s annual retailer event will be announced in early 2014.
The 2014 Retailer Summit will offer a wealth of entertaining, educational and informative activities, bringing together the industry’s leading retailers, publishers and key vendors for the 3-day trade-only event. The Retailer Summit will feature key publisher and supplier presentations, the return of the trade-only Exhibit Hall, retailer workshops, supplier roundtable discussions, and more fun and informative events for comic book specialty retailers.
“We’re excited to bring the Summit back to Las Vegas,” said Maryanne Marlowe, Diamond’s Trade Show and Events Manager. “We had a great run in Chicago over the past several years, thanks to the support of Reed Exhibitions and its C2E2 show, and we’re looking forward to a great show in Las Vegas in 2014.”
Now in its 12th year, Diamond’s Retailer Summit is the leading annual event for comic book specialty retailers to meet with publishers and vendors, and come together with fellow retailers to discuss their businesses. Top publishers such as Dark Horse comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics come to share exciting new projects, while retailers get to network and learn about new business practices to help them succeed and thrive in today’s retailing environment.
Registration for retailers begins in early 2014. Publishers and vendors should contact Maryanne Marlowe (mmary@diamondcomics.com) for sponsorship and event details.
