Press Release
Digital publisher Lion Forge Comics has partnered with iVerse Media, LLC to exclusively distribute a one-shot issue of the upcoming digital comic, Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier. The comic is based on Bellator MMA fighter and TNA “IMPACT WRESTLING” star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and is available to fans via iVerse Media’s proprietary Comics Plus application for iOS and Android devices and also on the web at ComicsPlusApp.com. Additionally, Lion Forge’s entire catalog will be available through the app in the coming weeks.
A digital content distributor concentrating on comic books for mobile and online platforms, iVerse Media works with a variety of well-known comics publishers, including Archie Comics, Marvel Comics and PEANUTS.
“iVerse Media has a great track record in the field of digital comic book distribution and their platform fits well with the direction our company,” said David Steward II, founder and CEO, Lion Forge. “We know fans will enjoy seeing Rampage Jackson in this form, and the one-shot issue serves as the perfect introduction to the upcoming digital comic series.”
Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier follows the adventures of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as he gains powers from a meteorite and decides to use them for good. When good people end up in bad situations, Rampage has no problem getting ugly to set things right!
“Lion Forge has quickly made a name for itself within the digital comics industry, and we’re proudly taking the reins to exclusively distribute this highly anticipated introductory issue of Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier,” said Michael Murphey, CEO, iVerse Media. “Our readership numbers grow every day, and we’re excited to continue offering consumers an easy method of checking out new digital entertainment.”
Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier was recently announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego, where Rampage Jackson made a special guest appearance to talk about the comic on the Lion Forge Comics panel.
Part one of the Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier one-shot issue is available now here and is priced at $1.99; part two is slated for release in September. Additional comics from the rest of the Lion Forge catalog will follow in the next couple of weeks.

We’ve been trying to keep the lid on this one for a while now and Geekscape listeners will have heard me hint at this over the past few episodes on the air. Finally, an announcement has been made that our friends at Lion Forge Comics have joined forces with NBC Universal to bring some of their most iconic 80s and 90s TV show back as digital comics.
