One of the titles announced at Marvel’s Cup O’ Joe Panel was Young Avengers: After Party, a two-issue jam comic which will see Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie welcome in a number of other creators for some stories and dancing. For a pic of the covers and names of the creators, take the jump.
Based on the covers alone we’ll be seeing characters from New X-Men, Power Pack, Avengers Academy, Young Allies, and Runaways. Among the creators set to contribute are Emma Vieceli, Becky Cloonan, Joe Quinones, Christian Ward and Ming Doyle. And those are only the ones announced so far. This does pose a question for the future of the series though, as Gillen had a “fixed first year” and has been taking on multitudes of projects. This does feel like a proper farewell for a title, so who knows what the future of the Young Avengers holds.
