One of the goals Dark Horse put forth for themselves this year was to generate a super hero line, and Ghost is one of the steps in that direction. This November, a full ongoing will begin by writers Kelly Sue DeConnick and Christopher Sebela with artist Ryan Sook on interiors. For a more in depth look, take the jump.
Elisa Cameron is an investigative reporter who finds herself pulled from her body and pushed into a new, semi-corporeal form, with amnesia and questions. The recent miniseries saw the character start to put together her old life, and rebuild her new one. Cameron has set out to right the wrongs committed by those who banished her.
CBR had an interview with DeConnick and Sebela once the announcement was made. In there, the one of the driving forces for the book is said to be the 32 demons Ghost discovered in Chicago at the end of the miniseries. The premise sounds good and I hope Dark Horse can create another successful series. To finish things off, here are the two covers for issue 1 by Terry Dodson and Paolo Rivera respectively.
