Sequart Research & Literacy Organization is proud to announce its 2013 San Diego Comic-Con panel, Sequart: Advancing Comics as Art, which will include exclusive Neil Gaiman documentary footage!
On Thursday July 18th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm in room 24ABC, the Sequart crew is going to show off new documentary footage and discuss great comics. Here are some of the exciting things that will be happening:
- Respect! Films’ Patrick Meaney and Jordan Rennert will show off WORLD-PREMIERE clips from our newly-announced Neil Gaiman documentary.
- Meaney and Rennert will also show extended previews of our Image Comics and Chris Claremont documentaries.
- Julian Darius (Sequart founder) and Hannah Means-Shannon (Sequart author) will talk about upcoming Sequart books on Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, and Grant Morrison.
- The panel will discuss the importance of comics; how far the medium has come and where it’s headed.
The panel will take place in room 24ABC on Thursday July 18th from 1:30pm to 2:30pm for the latest in comics scholarship!
