The other day, we showed you a video of the white Boba Fett – the prototype used to sell George Lucas on the character design. Turns out that video suddenly turning up may not have been an accident, as Sideshow Collectibles has announced a 1:6 scale action figure.
Commemorating this insight into the making of Star Wars, the Sideshow development team is excited to share a first look at the Boba Fett Prototype Armor Sixth Scale Figure – our tribute to the Mandalorian that could have been!
The figure ships in February 2014, and has a suggested price of $179.00. If I wasn’t already tapped out because of all the other stuff I’ve been buying lately, I’d drop the money on this one in an instant.

I’m just surprised they haven’t done it sooner in the Hasbro figure line. I was super excited when they put out the Ralph McQuarrie concept art Stormtrooper, and they have put out other Mandalorian figures that weren’t in the movies, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t put one out that way.
The one being released looks pretty cool, though. If I had the cash or something I was willing to sell off (a figure, a kidney, my soul, etc.), I’d definitely be buying it.
OMG! Instant buy :D
