E3 saw the release of a trailer for the next generation of Nintendo’s cross-franchise franchise, Super Smash Bros. Amongst other things we see the first new challenger to be announced, take the jump and see.

Two big things here. First, the new challnger. Villager comes from the Animal Crossing series. His moves look like they could be fun and I’m excited for any new characters to come our way. Second, and I think more interestingly, Nintendo announced the game will be available on both WiiU and 3DS. So far the differences seem mostly visual, but we’ll have to wait and see how everything plays out.
But wait, there’s even more news on this front, yet another challenger has (finally) made his way to the game.
Yes, MegaMan is finally going to join the rest of the cast in the Brawl. With no firm release date set, the next iteration of Super Smash Bros. is due out sometime next year. This is one of the games I’ve been waiting for, now to see how long before I have to get me a Wii U.
EDIT: Also, the official site has gone live with tons of info.

The only reason I will buy a Wii u is right there.
It’s one of my two, the other one is the next article today.
I may have to break down and get a Wii U just for this, missed out on Brawl.
If it weren’t for the new characters, I would have no way of knowing that this was a different game.
