It appears to be a morgue freezer. Perhaps it has something to do with the introduction of Max Dillon (a.k.a. Electro). If they stick to the origin story in the movie and Max gets his power from a lightning strike, it could be him inside the freezer.
I can see him in the movie being struck my lightning and being mistaken for dead and then cut to the morgue and he bursts out of the freezer to begin his career as Electro.
That’s my guess.
