Sometimes we throw out polls that ask you to look inward and examine who you are in relation to the rest of society. Other times, we want to know what you like at this moment in pop culture history. Other times, we just like to see our favorite characters beat the crap out of one another.

Omni man would win as Supes has never been in a fight as brutal as the Invincible Vs Omniman punch up.
Omniman looks like J. Jonah Jameson in a costume..
I’m voting Supes the two of them seem evenly matched physically but Nu52 Supermna is also super smart which might just give him the edge.
Superman all the way – Supes is the original, and his power set always seems to expand to meet any challenges that he encounters except when it fits the plot that it should not. Omniman is a pale imitation. He’s like the off brand Spam-like loaf from Argentina that you find on the dollar store shelves. Yes, he’s meat in a can. But so is dog food. I’ll take the original.
Like Matthew once said, “When two guys are almost evenly matched, vote for the guy with the laser eyes.” Superman will always be the Greatest Hero Ever Known!
From what we’ve seen so far from the New 52 Superman, he doesn’t have have the power level to defeat Omni-Man. Ask me again after the current H’el on Earth storyline.
The brutality Omni-Man has shown would give him the edge, and we’ve not seen New-52 supes do anything that matches his power level.
This is a mismatch. Superman beats Omni-Man with his crazy superpowers (like heat vision and ice breath).
When we watched the Doomsday DC animated movie, my wife aske, “Why didn’t Superman just throw that guy into the Sun?” and I replied, “Because of his nature.” And now you see why I voted for Omni Man (despite him being based on Superman, in clear violation of Matthews rule to bank on the original.)
Omni Man, he’s Superman but with centuries of experience, hand to hand combat training with equals, has no problems killing his enemy and the will to keep on fighting no matter how injured or how “dead” he should be by now.
New 52 Supe’s is a primadona who hasn’t faced a hundredth of the hardships Omni Man has, he’ll surrender in the first 2 minutes and be decapitated after 2 minutes and 1/60th of a second.
I say omniman. He’s not afraid to kill to win.
Again like the flash vs quicksilver fight, this is not about the power level but how far you are ready to take that power.
Omni Man wouldn’t be afraid to beg for mercy and then just when Super puts his guards down, punch a hole in his chest.
If it was pre-new 52, Superman hands down. But this new guy? I go with Omni-man just on experience.
Omni-Man because of the ‘stache.
I say Superman because his Portfolio has more faithful.
Omni-man would punch straight through Superman’s chest as soon as Superman showed any semblance of being a threat. Omni-man killed the Guardians of the Globe in under a minute, a group which included several people with some form of invulnerability. Superman lost as soon as he entered the fight.
Got to agree here. Omniman has so many benefits in his corner that he would stand a good chance against pretty much any superman iteration.
New 52 superman is not the best of the supermen by any stretch. So… seems pretty well balanced toward Omniman.
