Marvel sent out a teaser image for a new series by Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel, that on the surface features a DNA chromosome and the XX tag leans to a female centered book. Of course it isn’t written or drawn by women, so this could really just be a tease for a new X-Men book.

maybe it’s just the reformed 90’s x-fan in me, but i wouldn’t mind a non-T&A focused female-centric x-book.
i’m usually a pretty big fan of brian wood’s stuff (loved DMZ, which featured a really cool female lead, demo and channel zero were alright….pretty stoked to see what he comes up with for the new star wars comic), and i’m not familiar with olivier coipel, but i dig his artwork after some googling (sorta john cassaday with a little john romita jr. in there), so i’m optimistic about this.
