If you didn’t get everything you wanted for Christmas, it may be because it isn’t April 5, 2013 – the day the Legoland Hotel opens in California.
The Wife and I went to Legoland years ago, and I understand the vacation destination has gone through a few major upgrades since then, so I’m rather interested in the announcement that the company is opening a 250 room themed hotel.
Each room includes two separate sleeping areas, one for grown-ups and one for up to three children complete with a bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their own TV. Every room includes a treasure chest younger guests can unlock once they complete a special treasure hunt activity finding clues throughout their room. LEGOLAND Hotel is designed to give guests the interactive family experience that has brought success to LEGOLAND California, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Water Park.
This sounds a lot like the Great Wolf Lodge experience, and I for one can’t wait to take The Boys to SoCal in the coming years so they can geek out over even more Lego awesomeness.
