Kotobukiya has announced the release of Metal Gear Rex from the Metal Gear Solid video game series that arrives in kit form that you can build yourself!
Kotobukiya proudly presents a new model kit of the ultimate Gear from MGS, METAL GEAR REX! Designed by Yoji Shinkawa, REX stands on massively armored legs and wields a huge railgun in addition to gatling guns, missiles, and a laser. The aerodynamic main body has a forward pointing cockpit and a radome to send the pilot additional data.
The kit stands 9-inches tall, with multiple points of articulation. There are 600 pieces in the kit, so you better be good at model making, or have a lot of time on your hands to build this impressive statue.
Metal Gear Rex arrives in January 2013 and has a SRP of $79.99.
