    TOYS: Lego Rivendell

I will argue till I’m blue in the face that Lego is the best toy company ever. The creativity that a person can learn, and then apply in multiple areas of life, just from a box of differently shaped and colored bricks is amazing. And that creativity is prevalent in the Lego community with the freeform creations that are thought up. Today we take a look at Lego Rivendell.

Creators Blake Baer and Jack Bittner used over 50,000 pieces to create this 30″x40″ version of the Elven city of Rivendell. Last year the pair came together for Brickfair 2011 to create Amon Hen, so for the 2012 show they decided to step it up even more for this majestic build.

The entire build is amazing, but that waterfall…wow. The ball is in your court to top this Lego.

Zach is a recent college graduate who’s love for consuming media is surpassed only by his love for creating it. He has a firm belief that if we could all just play with LEGOs for 30 minutes a day the world would be a better place.
