This morning, we discover exactly what Matthew Broderick is selling in his Super Bowl spot – The Honda CR-V.
The commercial was directed by The Hangover’s Todd Phillips.
Over two dozen Ferris Bueller’s Day Off references are scattered throughout the bit, including the car jump sequence and visit to the art museum gag. While it is a nice short, I think we all know Ferris Bueller would never drive a CR-V… or would he?

Ferris never existed, he was Cameron’s Tyler Durden.
I am highly disappointed in the commercial, cause I was one that was hoping it was a sneak for a new Ferris Beuller.
ahh Ferris, for a friends birthday we hired a cinema screening room and watched it. Pure bliss, the best thing was we got to share the experience with friends who had never seen it before. :-D An awesome film….oh and the commercial ain’t bad either.
When was the last time a Broderick movie brought any joy?
When Ferris Bueller came out…
