Wow. Here’s something I didn’t expect to see come across the virtual desk at Major Spoilers – The Steve Jobs Action Figure. Created by Chinese manufacturer Dragon in Dreams, the action figure depicts the late Apple CEO in miniature form.
The figure is expected to be available in February 2012 for a price of $99.99 plus shipping. Of course the figure may not even hit store shelves (virtual or otherwise) as the Jobs family is expected to block the sale of the figure.
Dragon in Dreams is the same company that produced the Barack Obama action figure from a couple of years ago.
I’m so going to try and get one of these if for nothing else than to stand it on my desk, so Steve can look at me with that blank stare as if to say, “Really, asshole? That’s what you’re going to write about? I expected better of you.”

This have gone too far.
At first, I was pretty grossed out. Then I realized that it’s made in China, so now they get to exploit Steve just like he exploited them!
Gooooooo creepy
actiondeath figures! In this economy, I just can’t see parting with $99.00 for a “action figure” of someone who just died. Makes me wonder if it ends up like the “Puppet Master” movies where the puppets come to life…..
