My iPod: “I most warn you. They don’t call me Sir Brentzen the Thoughtfull!”
My Son: “ooooooh dad, why are you laughting soo?”
Loved this episode and as much as I love sir Brentzen. I sort of hope that he doesn’t get back – not right away anyway. The loss of a PC now and the makes the players aware that theyr character live a dangerous live and that those lives are at stake every fight.
The now eight characters seem sort of invincible at the moment. No critic!!! And I really, really love Brentzen and Glaa – it would just sharpen the edge if one of the eight got the axe.
A very nice episode indeed. I wish Glaa’d hit Orem again :).
Anyway, I was sooo happy to hear my question read out, it made this episode even more cool.
Hooray first time I’ve listened to the episode right away Saturday since almost half a year, also the this is the first in awhile that I haven’t had comp/mp3/time issues causing me to not hear it all the way through until around the 4th atempt.
In other unrelated news – just want to remind all you DnD nerds that the latest Wizards of the Coast podcast is up with Acquisition Incorporated!
Critical Hit is a sure nr. 1 – but these guys are close seconds.
Awesome stuff! Hair of Kord x1! Was the time dilation / wrapper dimension thing inspired by Inception? The interplay between the level was pretty interesting! How come Brentzen and Randus mentioned not wanting to sleep as they head toward the temple of Kord, even though a full week has passed before the narrative catches back up with them? Presumably they would have slept in the elapsed week. Or is that just an “irrational fear” of sleeping that Rod slipped in without anyone catching it?
For some reason I’ve always pictured Ket as Seth Green with a bad goatee.
Great episode, loved how Glaa managed to make an angel almost LoL at his “threats”.
Randus: “Of course that’s so obvious!” And he then disappeared in a puff of logic… literally it seems.
“There’s a reason they don’t call me Sir Brenzen the Thoughtful.”
I just L O V E Glaa! Best role Rob ever played in this podcast.
Must be becaurse he uses his hippucampus – lol.
Neuroanatomi joke ftw. You don’t see them often.
I would pick Andy Serkis to play Din. Of course that would mean a wait until he’s done reprising Gollum and helping direct the two Hobbit movies.
