X-23, the female clone of Wolverine and first introduced in 2003, is getting the Bishoujo statue treatment from Kotobukiya.
The six-inch tall statue (that’s 1/7th scale for those keeping track) features X-23 with claws drawn, ready to strike.
Outside of combat, Laura wears a striking outfit consisting of a halter top, stylish ripped arm coverings, pants, and boots, all in black. Highly detailed sculpting brings out the intricacies of X-23’s banded and laced boots, her unique linked-ring belt, and medallion necklace. Contrasting with her ebony clothing is the mutant’s beautiful skin, and bright green and gold accents adorn her belt, necklace, and eyes. X-23’s wind-blown hair adds subtle movement to the scene, all of which brings focus to her beautiful Bishoujo styled face.
Kotobukiya’s X-23 Bishoujo statue arrives in March 2012 and will set someone back $59.99.

As a statue, I like it. As an X-23 statue… I’m not sure yet. Something about it bugs me, but I’m not entirely sure what. Still, it’s cute enough that I’d love to get one.
I see what you mean. I think it’s that the face neither matches the pose nor X-23, even in an idealized, bishi way. The eyes are too …I dunno, cow-like. And the smile looks wrong. It’s like she’s not bishoujo so much as …well, kinda dopey.
Sharper eyes and a snarkier smile would fix it.
