Way to encourage more lady geeks to attend cons.
Wow, besides that being an extremely annoying video, Id have to say if thats the best he could find, then NYCC has it beat by a landslide. Anya from Gears was the only one that was cool, the rest were just dressing in skimpy outfits like it was Halloween. Believe me you, I love T&A as much as the next dude, but at least put some effort in to it. Or in this guys case don’t NERD all over some girl dressed normally just because she has estrogen. It was borderline creepy, we aren’t all desperate to touch a boob. I saw a girl dressed as Harley Quinn a few years back at New York that was utterly amazing, you actually complimented her on what she had done…not the amount of material it could have lacked.
I just got back from SDCC, and for the record, there were many costumes there that were better than those shown. And, to be fair, a few that were worse. But what really bugs me is the way the interviewer only has two strategies: insult the woman or insult the audience.
