Puck’s back! Hot damn! I may be the only mark for Eugene Judd’s alter-ego but even if he does end up being the heel I’ll pick up the book now (could care less about this “Fear” event, I’ve just always enjoyed Alpha Flight).
Alpha Flight died in New Avengers #19 or something, off-camera, so to speak, at the hands of the newly-born and not-thinking-clearly Collective, who later became the new Vindicator and later still Weapon Omega.
They came back during Chaos War, IIRC.
And in the sneak peek of Alpha Flight #1 it looks like some things aren’t quite right since there’s no idea anyone can come up with where a certain person who never existed before that mention came from.
No, I’m not gonna spoil it. take a look.
But I’m betting it’s that person will betray them.
Unless the writers are pulling something like Brad Meltzer having Wildfire telling Red Tornado “I’m you in the future, man! I know it gets better.” When the two have never been related before or since AFAIK.

Yeah, I’m glad they are back too, though I’m a little confused . . . didn’t they die right before Civil War, in like New Avengers?
Does anyone outside the Great White North actually care about Canada?
I’m guessing Joe Queseda.
I think Puck will betray them
