    Marvel announces Spider-Island: Cloak & Dagger #1

    Marvel has announced that the team of Cloak and Dagger will be defending the realm when Spider-Island arrives in August.  Morning Glories creator Nick Spencer and artist Emma Rios will team to bring the story to you.

    “Nick and Emma are two of the most explosive new talents in comics and they’re matched perfectly on with Cloak and Dagger…two of Marvel’s most exciting characters,” said Marvel Senior Editor Steve Wacker. “ This is the definitely the book to watch coming out of Spider-Island.”

    Spider-Island: Cloak and Dagger #1 has a $2.99 cover price.

      Two of Marvel’s most exciting characters? Really? I think not. I do like Cloak and Dagger, but really at this point they’re D-listers at best.

      I do really like the artwork though. Though Dagger kinda looks a little like a younger Michelle Pfeiffer.
