With the new 5 Ronin mini set to arrive from Marvel, the company has unveiled the covers by artist David Aja.
“From the very beginning, I wanted to keep each cover down to two colors that identify with each of the five characters” explains artist, David Aja. “We set out to come up with a design that would grab your eyes from the shelves compared to the rest of the covers while keeping uniformity throughout the series and I think we accomplished that here.”

Why not just do Marvel Oriental where the Marvel U takes place in Feudal Japan? Better yet, why not get actual manga creators to do their own take on certain Marvel heroes that AREN’T Wolverine?
These covers are beautiful. If they’re of equivalent price to the A covers on the stands, I’ll be picking these up no contest.
While I DO love the covers, unfortunately I’m just not a fan of any of these characters.
Is it just me, or is this the Immortal Weapons cover dress, only with higher profile characters?
