I don’t know why (Rachel Bilson), but every time Jumper shows up on the pay-cable channel (Rachel Bilson), I have to sit down and watch the entire movie (Rachel Bilson). While the movie didn’t do so well in the box office, and some may not like Hayden Christensen’s acting, I do find the story to be oddly compelling (Rachel Bilson). Hayden told MTV that there is a sequel to Jumper in the works – there are, after all, two other books from which this movie was based on – but when you watch the video, look at the non-verbal cues (Rachel Bilson).
Anytime some starts touching their face and hesitating on this kind of information it always feels like the PR person told the star, “Go ahead and say there is something in the works, even if there isn’t, just to fan speculation, and get people interested in the product, so we can approval to make a sequel.” Of course there are also those productions that are being passed around H’wood that are under consideration, and a sequel to Jumper may just be one of them.
Oh, and Rachel Bilson…

I hope it gets done, I liked the first one, Jamie Bell and Hayden Christensen were great in it, and Hayden deserves better than he has had, he just had that one bad role it was not his fault, plus it had Kristen Stewart in it so you have that going on for the sequel. And for the record I knew who Kristen Stewart was before Twilight was written, she was that girl from Panic Room and Speak.
Maybe because I worked at a video store as well, I knew Kristen Stewart from The Messengers and In The Land of Women before I knew what Twilight was all about and before all the Twitards went crazy over it. I kinda liked Jumper and thought that it had some potential, but I really can’t think of anything that I’ve seen Hayden in that I’ve thought he did really well in.
