Here’s the first full trailer for the upcoming vampire flick – Priest.
PRIEST, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
Priest arrives in theaters on May 13, 2011.

I love the comics but as for this, I’m not sure how good this movie is going to be.
I find the trailer interessting.
have no clue about the comics, but might look into them.
Looks like a cross between the Matrix, Van Helsing and Constantine. At least it isn’t the same old concept of blood-suckers visually in the trailer.
Absolutely. Tired of everyone choosing either some version of Dracula or some version of Nosferatu. Granted, the overall theme is more Nosferatu than Dracula, but at least the visual is different.
Just looked up Priest on the Wikipedia. Apparently, it’s Korean in origin (manhwa). According to the piece, the comic wasn’t really about vampires, though. Anyone know if they based the vampires in the movie on anything from the books?
Fun action flick… but what I’m really tired of, is the font they used in this trailer… It was cool back in the days of Diablo 1… but it needs updating or something.
