I was lucky enough to see some of this stuff in the flesh (of similar steampunk weaponry) last year at the Weta Cave in Wellington. Amazing Stuff.
the price tag is high but if that were no problem and I had space, I would pick up a couple. I got a miniature version last year and it’s very cool. but a lot less expensive as well.
I still don’t know what the heck they’re supposed to be, also why anyone in their right mind would pay that much for them. Even the $89.00 one is steep. I’d understand if they were props from classic Sci-Fi, like a ray gun or something from Forbidden Planet.
