DeadpoolMAX coming in October

If you read the really really really long interview with Tom Brevoort and Axel Alonso, you may saw the news about DeadpoolMAX. For the rest of you who think hitting PageDown 15 times is just too much for any article, here’s the highlight…

And in October – drum roll, please — we’re launching “DeadpoolMAX,” by the creative team of David Lapham and Kyle Baker. For Immature Readers. We have a story to tell, and the only way to tell it is through MAX. Will it be sophomoric? Yes. Will it be fun? Yes. Will it be smart? Define smart. Will there be cameos by some of your favorite superheroes and villains? Yes…when I’m allowed to. [Brevoort Laughs] I’m really looking forward to it.

With all the Deadpool comics already out there, and a few more on the way, are you ready for a MAX line featuring Deadpool?  If it is anything like PunisherMAX was when it first launched, I just might pick this up to see what all the fuss is about.

If this is the real deal, and not a bunch of goofing around, expect to see more about this at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.
