It’s been years since we’ve seen Pee-Wee Herman on the big screen, and that may be just long enough for audiences to forget about the bad moments in Paul Reubens life, and reintroduce a new generation of movie goers to Pee-Wee’s adventures.
At least that is what Judd Apatow, Ruebens, and Paul Rust think as they begin to develop another road movie for the child trapped in a man’s body. I really hope this is a new movie and not a remake of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.

The stage show of “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” that he did before “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” was one of the funniest comic bits for it’s time. In the movie, I will always remember “Large Marge” as one of the highlights.
oh hell yes. Pee-Wee’s play house was one of the best things on TV, and Big Adventure was just awesome!
I’m glad to see he’s getting some sort of redemption. I was glad that he was vindicated in the bogus child-porn scandal that was brought against him. Seems he was just too easy and tempting a target (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Reubens#Pornography_arrest:_2002).
Good for you, Pee Wee!
If Laurence Fishburne dons the jerry curl wig and cowboy hat, I’m all in.
